Lesson Overview

Ideal for pupils at any stage of their learning journey, a standard 2-hour lesson provides the ideal balance of time to settle into the driving seat, introduce new skills, and put them into meaningful practice without feeling rushed.

Unlike shorter sessions where a large portion of time is spent simply traveling to a suitable area, a 2-hour block allows for a structured, outcome-focused session—giving you enough time to develop confidence, practice key routines repeatedly, and reflect on your progress.

What to Expect During the Lesson

 Briefing & Goal Setting: A quick 5-minute review of your progress, agreeing on the specific focus for the day (e.g., roundabouts, parallel parking, or dual carriageways).

 Focused Skill Instruction: Clear, step-by-step guidance on new concepts or road types.

 Extended Practical Driving: Ample time behind the wheel to practice maneuvers, tackle varied road layouts, and build muscle memory.

 Debrief & Progress Tracking: A 5-minute reflection at the end of the session to highlight achievements, discuss any areas for improvement, and log your progress on your driver tracking record.

Who This Lesson Is For

 Beginners: Wanting enough time to master starting, stopping, and steering without the pressure of a quick turn-around.

 Intermediate & Advanced Learners: Working through complex traffic scenarios, high-speed roads, or maneuvers that require focused repetition.

 Full License Holders: Seeking a refresher session to rebuild confidence after time away from driving or to get comfortable with a new area.

Prerequisites

A valid UK provisional driving license (or full license for refresher pupils). No prior experience required.

Theory test fees and official DVSA practical test fees are paid directly to the DVSA by the pupil.
