KUDOS DRIVING PRIVACY POLICY
This agreement forms a contract between you the Client and Kudos Driving and its representatives

1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy outlines how ‘Kudos Driving’ collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, or enrol in driving lessons. We act as the Data Controller responsible for your personal information.
2. The Personal Data We Collect
We may collect and process the following information:
Contact Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and pickup address.
Driving & License Details: Provisional or full UK driving license number, test history, driving experience, and eyesight verification status.
Lesson & Payment Records: Dates and times of lessons, progress tracking, test bookings, payment histories, and transaction notes.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and basic website usage metrics via cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your information for the following purposes:
Scheduling, conducting, and managing your practical driving lessons and mock tests.
Communicating regarding lesson bookings, cancellations, or updates.
Booking practical driving tests with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) on behalf of pupils prior to the law change 12 May 2026.*
Maintaining accurate business, financial, and tax accounting records.
Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We rely on the following legal bases to handle your data:
Contractual Necessity: To perform the contract we have entered into with you (providing driving instruction).
Legal Obligation: To comply with statutory requirements, such as HMRC tax recordkeeping.

Consent: Where you have explicitly opted in (e.g., to receive marketing communications or feature your test pass photo on our social media).
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with necessary processing partners, including:
Government Bodies: The DVSA for practical test administration.
Service Providers: Scheduling and pupil management software, payment processors, and cloud storage providers.
Professional Advisors: Accountants or legal advisors for business reporting and compliance.

We retain pupil records and financial transaction data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, typically up to 6 years following the end of our business relationship to satisfy statutory accounting and legal claims obligations.

If the Client does not agree with, or is unwilling to commit to and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, then DO NOT enter into any agreement with Kudos Driving and its representative or use any its services.
*Please note: Booking practical driving tests.
You must book your driving test yourself. If you need to change, swap or cancel it, you’ll also need to do this yourself.
Your driving instructor is not allowed to do this for you.
It’s against the law to book a car driving test for someone else.
You must have lived in England, Wales or Scotland for at least 185 days in the last 12 months before the day you take your test.
